The Twins started as an evolved version of my twin characters Vanfaelor. Since the Vanfaelors are clones I imagined after perhaps millenia of immortality they would just eventually become one again. You can even see their characteristic parallel scars. You can learn more about Vanfaelor on his shrine page.
The inherent duality of twins made me think there may be a yin and yang type of aspect as well, and I imagined the evil counterpart. I liked the design so much it made its way into my comic; you can see them on the first page. I plan on incorporating aspects of the two characters into minor characters.

The Candlemonk is another concept for my comic. To be perfectly honest, I painted it right around the time Elden Ring came out and might have been feeling a bit of inspiration from all the amazing design work in that game. The character may or may not show up in the comic at some point, I haven't decided. I did write a shitty poem for him, though.

Through tunnels and doors and twisting hallways,
Steeped in dark- the endless maze,
The subjects will wander and flee from the blight,
But they may find comfort in the Candlemonk's light
Smoke fills the air with a pestilent haze
He silently watches with his palpable gaze
Though they do not see eyes, they know he has sight,
No need for eyes, blessed from Nyl's holy rite
If they wait long enough, perhaps even days
In the place with the monk where he patiently stays
Watch as the candlelight dances and plays
And the monk may whisper his wisdom in phrase:
The pit claims all the ones who fall
Do not pity them,
The time will come for each us all
To humbly nourish Him.

Elliot is my Vampire: The Masquerade character. I painted this in an afternoon mostly to use as a pfp in the rp discord server. Elliot is supposed to be 8 years old, so this is supposed to look like a school portrait.
We just started playing, so his character is still a little nebulous as we are learning the ins and outs of the game. Maybe I'll update this later, idk.

The Caretaker is a villain I created for our D&D campaign when I was still DMing it. When I passed the game over to my very good and best friend and forever DM, G, he ran with it. My version was a generic evil wizard kind of guy. G transformed him masterfully into a truly memorable villain, and our first BBEG. He even tied him into my character's mysterious backstory. The Caretaker was now a magician of mysterious origin, working for an even more mysterious entity, who uses the lifeforce of children to power himself. I was too much of a wiener to make such an evil villain, but that's why G is the DM now lol. The Caretaker is one of my all time favorites, and this is my fanart.
